Forest Edge Bed and Breakfast is situated in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, a few miles from Andover (click to view local map) 

and within easy reach of the A303, M3, Basingstoke, Winchester, Stonehenge and Salisbury.

The bungalow is set in over an acre of landscaped and eco-friendly gardens that abut the ancient Harewood Forest. 

The four guest rooms all have en-suite facilities, with  twin, king-sized and double bedrooms available.

Forest Edge Wildlife Garden

Imagine walking out of your en-suite room onto our lovely patio, exploring the beautiful one-acre garden (featured on BBC's Gardeners' World and by the RHS) towards a potential cloud of butterflies in our orchid strewn meadow. 

Beyond the garden are around five square miles of ancient oak & bluebell woodland with deer and badgers. There are typical Hampshire villages, with their charismatic pubs, and the River Test within a mile or two.

GREEN FOREST EDGE  

We now generate our own electricity (PV-system).  We carbon-offset travel, use our own wood for much of the heating, have a highly efficient gas boiler and almost too much insulation! The garden is a beautiful nature reserve and we are proud of tawny owls nesting in 2009 / very rare lizard orchid flowering 2010.

Best retreat ever!
 
My wife and I simply had to take a detour on our way back from Cornwall to stay again at Forest Edge, a place of tranquillity, nature and warm-heartedness. From the very first moment of our stay on, we were sure we had to come back again for another dwell in the garden, me kippers and herbed eggs for breakfast, the inspiring talks to the hosts and a night of super-relaxing sleep! We were touched by the genuine and friendly atmosphere the Beesons gave us, even when we arrived for the very first time. We've already started recommending the place to our friends at home in Germany as a real 'must' on their ways to the South-west of GB.
